Auf dem jüdischen Friedhof werden notwendige Maßnahmen zur Herstellung der statischen Sicherheit und Behebung des Drinkglichkeitszustandes 1 von insgesamt 30 Grabsteinen durchgeführt.

General contracting services

The services to be performed by the contracting team specialized in plannung restoration and statics cover all planning for the restoration of the headstones , in particular the necessary specialized planning and production of a list of services for the construction work, the call to tender, the determination of the best bid and all monitoring and coordination of the subsequent construction work.

Execution of works on the cemetery wall and monument

Renovation of the existing exposed brickwork wall and construction of a new entrance gate

The present exposed brickwork wall was repaired and restored and a new pillar bricked in. An opening was created in the wall for a new wrought-iron gate in keeping with style of the cemetery.

Erection of new fencework

Parts of the wall which could no longer be restored were removed and replaced by a wiremesh fence.

Clearing and leveling work

To the unoccupied rear of the cemetery, the ground was leveled. Wildly growing trees and plants were cleared from the entire site of the cemetery in order to ensure safety of movement and to prevent damage to the headstones resulting from uncontrolled growth.

Contracting services inventory and monument protection

All headstones were recorded and numbered. Additionally, damage to the headstones was recorded and the restoration aims were defined in consensus with the Federal Office for the Protection of Monuments.
